This article provides an overview of some of the new features of this website.

Use of most of the features require you to register as a user. The administrator must approve the account before you can use it. Note that I have synchronized the accounts on the club forum with the accounts on this website, so if you had an account on our forum already you should be able to log in to this website with the same user id and password.

1. User Profile

- Within your user profile you can update and maintain all the details of your car (instead of the Administrator doing it :-)

- You can also upload a picture (of your car or whatever else you want) to your profile. To ensure that no inappropriate pictures are uploaded, each picture must be approved by the administrator before it will appear.

2. Club Events and Calendar

- You can submit your own events (meets, cruises, etc.) with all the necessary details. Events must be approved by the Administrator before they become active. A calendar displays all current events. You can view by daily, weekly, monthly, or a "flat" view.

 3. Forum

- This link takes you to our current forum. The accounts are synchronized between the website and the forum, so once you log into the website you should not need to log in again to the forum.

4. GallerieZ

- This feature allows each user to create their own galleries and upload their own pictures.... finally! You should also be able to post pictures to galleries that others have created.
- A note about accounts - since the gallery is different software, it does require separate accounts; however they are also synchronized with the website accounts. Therefore, you shouldn't need to register or log in separately for the gallery.

5. News

- This is a great way to keep each other informed on the latest news from BMW (new models, reviews, etc.) Each user can submit news stories. You can either write your own news story or provide a link to news items you find on the internet. Obviously, News items should pertain to the topics of interest to the club only and all submitted news items must be approved by the Administrator before they appear on the site.

6. Links

- There is a lot of different websites out there that contain products, services, or information about BMW's that would be useful to our club. This feature allows each user to submit links to websites along with a description. These links must be approved by the Administrator before they appear on the site.

7. HiZtory

- Contains a well known article written by Fred Kern about the history of the beloved Z3.
